To work for a living or to do worldly business is an improper life. (A) Bỏ lối sống sai trái, gây đau khổ cho người—Abandon wrong ways of living which bring harm and suffering to others: -Buôn súng ống và vũ khí: Selling arms and lethal weapons. -Buôn bán súc vật để hạ thịt: Selling animals for slaughter. -Buôn bán nô lệ: Dealing in slaves. -Buôn bán những thức uống có chất cay độc: Selling intoxicating and/or poisonous drinks. (B) Nên sống bằng những nghề nghiệp lương thiện, không làm hại mình hại người: One should live by an honest profession that is free from harm to self anf others.
