九縛一脫

The nine states of bondage and the one state of liberation. The nine states are the hells of fire, of blood, of sDICT_ENTRY_WORDs; asuras, men, devas, māras, nirgranthas, form and formless states; these are all saṃsāra states, i.e. of reincarnation. The one state of freedom, or for obtaining freedom, is nirvāṇa.
